The bustling working-class district of Il Prato overflows with boutiques and local food shops. It is a stone's throw from the Arno River via Lungarno Amerigo Vespucci, which also leads to Florence’s tourist and commercial hub (such as Via Tornabuoni and Piazza della Repubblica) past the many historic palaces that line the river.
Santa Maria Novella central train station is nearby (15-minute walk), as is the park known as "Le Cascine," where the city's biggest market is held weekly.
The apartment itself is situated in the quietest and most sophisticated part of the area, right next to Florence's biggest theatre, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, far from heavy traffic.

White walls, terra cotta floors and tasteful furnishings adorn this ground-floor spacious and cozy apartment (100 m²).
The entrance to the apartment is via a glass door that opens directly onto the living room (33 m² - east facing). The living room contains two sofas (one of which is a single sofa-bed), a coffee table, a dining room table with chairs, a cabinet, a TV, and a media console.
The kitchen (9 m²- west facing) has a small window that looks out onto the backyard. It is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (gas stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher) and has all the cooking and eating utensils you’ll need.
The first bedroom (15 m² - east facing) looks out onto the street and is furnished with a double bed, two bedside tables, an armoire, a dresser, and an armchair.
The second bedroom (10 m² - east facing) has a window that is high up and looks out onto the backyard. The bedroom is complete with two single beds, a bedside table, an armoire, and a small table with a chair.
The third bedroom (21m² - north facing) is situated in the basement and has a window. The room contains two single beds, two bedside tables, and a small armoire.
