Monti is one of the oldest districts in Rome. Here, local craft shops dot a maze of narrow, inclined streets. The area has been untouched by tourism.
The apartment itself is in a historic building on one of these small, ivy-covered streets with public transportation nearby.
The Colosseum and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni exhibition hall are within walking distance (15 minutes).
The apartment
This newly renovated ground-floor apartment (49 m²) has a very contemporary look and features designer furniture. It boasts a small, private, inner courtyard.
You first enter the apartment through the living room (28 m² - north facing), in which there are two glass doors that lead to the yard. Pillars divide the living room from the bedroom. The living room contains a single sofa-bed, a coffee table, and an armchair. The dining area consists of a table with six chairs.
The en-suite American-style kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (gas stove, fridge, electric oven, dishwasher, and washing machine).
The bedroom (15.1 m²) has no windows but does have a skylight. It has closet space, a double bed (made up of two single beds), a couple of bedside tables, an armchair, and a TV.
The bathroom (5.95 m²) is fitted with a sink, shower, bidet, and toilet.
The courtyard (12.9 m²) has a patio table and two stools.
