Campo Santo Stefano is the crossroads between San Marco's Accademia and Rialto's Accademia.
In the afternoon, the square fills with families, people sitting at the many outdoor cafés, and passers-by. Despite it being a very touristic area, Campo Santo Stefano is Venice at its best. However, the area grows very quiet when night falls.
The apartment itself is on the square and is only minutes from the Gallerie dell'Accademia (2 minutes), the Piazza San Marco (15 minutes), and the Ponte di Rialto. A vaporetto stops Accademia and Sant’Angelo are both nearby.
The apartment
This charming second-floor apartment (57 m²) is right off of Campo Stefano. There is no elevator access. The parquet floors, framed engravings, and wood furniture lend charm to the apartment.
There is a set of stairs (6 m²) leading up the apartment.
The living room (34 m² - west facing) is spacious and has two windows that overlook Campo Santo Stefano. The living room has two sofas, tables, four chairs, and a portable stereo. The living room also has a storage closet.
The kitchenette is off of the living room, is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (oven/microwave, refrigerator, and gas stove) and has all the cooking and eating utensils you’ll need.
The bedroom (13.5 m² - east facing) looks out onto the street and contains two single beds that can be pushed together, two bedside tables, a dresser, a clothes rack with hangers, and several chairs.
The bathroom (3.5 m² - east facing) overlooks the street and is fitted with a shower, sink, bidet, and toilet.
