The 9th arrondissement of Paris is a central district, which is a link between the heart of Paris and its popular districts of the North of the city. It features famous places, such as the Opera Garnier or the famous department stores on Boulevard Haussmann. This arrondissement especially offers an unequalled cultural life, with many of the most famous theaters of Paris (L’Olympia, Les Folies Bergères, Le Casino de Paris, Mogador…)
Rochechouart district is located in the South of the arrondissement, not far from the Grands Boulevards and their charming passages. It’s a young and dynamic neighborhood with many shops, restaurants and cafés.
The apartment itself is central and close to the metro. You can easily walk to many points of interest. Indeed, many places are less than 15 minutes by walking distance from the apartment : Montmarte, Pigalle with its Moulin Rouge, the Museum of Romantic life with its charming garden, Galeries Lafayette, and a little bit further the Opéra Garnier. The day and night animated rue des Martyrs is close to the apartment and the line 7 of the metro will take you to the heart of Paris in 10 minutes.
The apartment
BELLEFOND is a quiet and charming 1 bedroom apartment of 37 m², with sloped ceilings and visible wooden beams, located on the 3rd floor (no elevator).
You directly enter in the living-room (21.50 m²) with its sloped ceilings on both sides.
-The living area, on the right side of the entrance, is composed with 2 sofas and a coffee table in the middle. A Velux (South facing) provides light to this area.
-The kitchen area is located on the left side of the entrance. It has a table with 2 chairs, an armchair, and a low cabinet under the sloped ceiling. The kitchen itself is complete and is equipped with a fridge, 2 electric stoves, a sink. There is also a Velux (North facing) in this side of the living-room.
In front of the entrance door, another door will lead you to the bedroom and the bathroom.
The bedroom (12 m²) has a small window on the roof (North facing). It has 2 single beds, 2 chests of drawers, a small table and a valet.
The bathroom (3.50 m²) is also bright thanks to a Velux (South facing). It’s equipped with a shower, a sink, a bidet and WC.
