The apartment is located in a quiet street of the Cannaregio neighbourhood, close to Campo dei Gesuiti. It’s a perfect location: 2 minutes from Fondamente Nuove vaporetto stop, 15 minutes walking-distance from Rialto bridge and 25 minutes from Saint Mark Place.
This part of Cannaregio, away from the main touristic routes, is quiet at night and lively in the afternoon: kids are playing on the Campo, while their mummies are chatting. Foscarini high school is close and its student enjoy the end of the day. The former Jesuit convent welcomes students and its cloister is now a restaurant/bar with a terrace facing the nice Campo dei Gesuiti.
Some tourists come to visit the beautiful and baroque style Gesuiti church, with its altar encrusted with lapis lazuli, and its masterpieces of Tintoret and of Titien.
The closest vaporetto drives you to the Northern islands (San Michele cemetery, Murano, Burano, Torcello) and to the airport.
The apartment
SANTA CATERINA is a bright, quiet and nice studio of 30 m² located on the ground floor. It’s a convenient and well equipped place. It’s facing a canal and Campo dei Gesuiti.
You enter the apartment directly in the kitchen (9.50 m² - North facing) featuring a window on the Santa Caterina Canal and Campo dei Gesuiti. It’s fully equipped: fridge with a freezer compartment, gas stove, oven, electric kettle and toaster. It’s also furnished with a table and 4 chairs.
The living-room (13.70 m² - North facing) also features a window offering a view on the canal, which gives a nice light in the room. It’s composed with a sofa bed, 2 glass tables, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
A small corridor (2 m²) with a mirror, a coat-rack and a shelf leads to the bathroom.
The bathroom (4.80 m² - North facing) also features a window offering a view on the canal, which gives a nice light in the room. It’s equipped with a nice shower, a sink, a bidet, WC and a washing machine.
