Todi, in the central southern part of Umbria, rests high up on a hill, overlooking the valley that the river Tiber runs through.
Todi’s rich historical, artistic, and architectural heritage make it one of Umbria's most popular regions.
Todi's historic centre has been untouched by time. You'll find beautiful monuments, narrow lanes, and grand palaces. Todi's main square, Piazza del Popolo, is also home to the cathedral church (duomo).
The apartment
San Fortunato (90 m2) is a charming, bright, and quiet apartment on two floors with a breath-taking view of Todi’s surrounding hillsides. Stone walls add to the authenticity of the place. With its exposed beams and tasteful interior design, the apartment is cosy and welcoming.
On the ground floor:
- The kitchen (20 m2 - west facing) has a window that looks out onto the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped: all the cooking and eating utensils you’ll need, a fridge, freezer, work surfaces, and a toaster. There is also a table, four chairs, a sideboard, and a washing machine.
- There is a small table and chairs, deckchairs, and an outdoor shower in the beautiful gardens (50 m²).
On the 2nd floor:
- In the living room (30 m² - west facing), there are three windows that overlook the garden and the surrounding hills, and a French door that leads to a balcony overlooking the garden. Two sofas are set up facing each other with two small tables, a long coffee table, rocking chair, coffee table, TV and stand, desk, and two wooden chairs.
- The two large windows in the en-suite den (west facing) overlook the garden. There are two single beds, an armchair, and dresser.
- There are two skylights in the bedroom (15 m² - east facing), as well as a doublebed, two bedside tables, a dresser, and wardrobe.
- The bathroom (4 m²), also with a skylight, has a bathtub and shower, sink, bidet, and toilet.

Notes
As the apartment is in an old building with thick walls and a 4-metre suspended ceiling, it stays cool in the summertime.
